Ingredients: Buxus Dioica
Materials:
You will need: disposable gloves and a disposable cap, as well as the light henna powder, which is included in the box.
Additionally, you will need: a glass container (it cannot be metal), a plastic spatula for mixing, hot water (bottle water is better), a dye brush to apply to the roots (better, although not essential), and finally, a towel and a hairdryer.
If you want to improve the results and get more highlights in your hair, you can add a little lemon juice and/or chamomile tea to the mix.
Instructions:
Preparation:
1: Pour the Natural Copper henna powder into a glass container, being very careful or wearing gloves, as the powder stains.
Add the lemon juice and/or chamomile tea here if you wish.
2: Gradually add very hot water and mix carefully with the spatula until you get a smooth paste.
3: Let it rest until it cools down to a lukewarm temperature.
4: Now prepare the Katam in another container by doing the same. The more Katam you use, the darker the result will be.
5: Mix both pastes together.
Application:
Tip: First, apply moisturizer around the face, ears, and neck to protect your skin from stains.
On dry hair, apply the paste by massaging the scalp well and completely covering all the roots evenly. Continue to the tips if you are applying to the whole hair. If you are dyeing dreads, the process is the same; you just need to apply carefully from one rasta to the next, soaking it well, making sure the dye penetrates deep into the inner hair of the rasta, not just the surface layer. Otherwise, the process is the same as with loose hair.
Once everything is covered, massage the scalp well.
If you only touched up the roots: Put the cap on with your hair or dreads gathered in a low ponytail.
If you dyed all of it: Gather your hair in an updo and put the cap on.
If the cap moves, you can secure it with plastic wrap.
Clean any stains on your skin now.
Leave it on for 2 to 3 hours.
Rinsing:
Rinse with lukewarm water until most of the paste (mud-like substance) is gone. Then wash with your shampoo (if you have dreads, your shampoo should be Dr. Bronner's). Massage the scalp for a minute, then rinse with lukewarm water until almost no color comes out in the water.
