So, it's not common or easy to get lice in dreadlocks. However, the problem used to be that once we got them, it was hard to get rid of them. But not anymore!
It also works for afro hair, cyberdreads, and braids.
The Raw Roots lice remover for dreadlocks, from the specialist brand in dreadlocks, is a natural blend based on Quassia bark, a natural insecticide, and a very effective remedy for treating head lice, even eliminating the eggs.
It's very easy to use, as it comes with a spray applicator for convenient use on both hair and scalp, and there’s NO need to wash your dreadlocks afterward.
There are several reasons why you might still experience lice someday, and you should avoid them. These reasons are usually:
- If your dreadlocks are too close together or if there’s a lot of loose hair at the roots due to lack of root maintenance.

Natural lice remover without chemicals.
Method of use:
- Wear gloves when applying the product and do not touch the hair without them until the product dries.
- Apply the product with the spray, spraying directly onto the scalp and up to 10 cm away from the scalp.
- Wrap the hair with a plastic bag, cap, or plastic wrap; those work too.
- Let the product work for one hour.
- Remove the plastic bag and let the product dry in the hair.
- You also have the option to wash your hair afterward, but it’s not necessary at all.
- Repeat after 5 days to ensure effectiveness.
For prevention, you can also use it as follows:
Spray a very small amount every 2-3 days directly onto the scalp.
